Work Notes #33

It’s been a week of ups and downs. There were interesting talks and meetings. And some desperate moments.

In fact, Friday was the kind of day that I wished I could simply quit and vanish. I rarely feel this way, but it’s not a great place to be when I do. Although I don’t want to go into any details about this matter, it felt very personal, like an attack on my values and beliefs being carried out for some other reasons.

On a more positive note, Friday also turned out to a great evening. As the Community team is working from home most of the times, I organized a dinner at my place. It was a welcome change to the daily calls that always revolve around daily work.

At the project front, there has not been any substantial progress that would justify getting deeper into. I continued my work on the new and exciting project that I mentioned in the previous notes. The newsletter project is finally developed on the staging enivornment. And the next iteration of our UX improvements is just around the corner.

Generally, the pace is slowing down a bit. We can feel that we’re approaching the more calm end-of-the-year phase.

However, it’s going to be a stressful time anyway – at least for me. I’ve also conducted another two interviews for my master thesis. The deadline is near, and I really have to get shit down now.
